Tips: Acquiring the English Language 0

The first lesson in patience is learning to count your trials as joy. Have you had your first trials at learning English? What were they? For me, my first trial to learn a foreign language was speaking French in Quebec. Everyone spoke French, but me. It was so hard to understand them. I tried to talk, but my friend continued to stop me from speaking because of my inability. The lesson from it was to encourage even beginner speakers.
