We have a diverse arrangement of lessons. We create lessons based on the needs of the student. We are capable of teaching English to kids and adults. We have lessons designed for all levels.
What is the methodology of your lessons?
We offer one-on-one lessons through Skype or other messenger program such as Yahoo/MSN/Googletalk. We also use webmeeting tools such as whiteboard, sketchpad, desktop sharing, etc. You will need a high speed internet connection and microphone/headset. Webcam is optional.
We prefer using Skype among the other messenger programs. If you don't have a Skype installed in your computer, please go here - http://skype.com to download Skype.
Do you offer a free trial lesson?
Yes, we do offer a free trial class for 15-60 minutes. Please click on the TRY ONE CLASS FREE banner to sign up for a trial class. We arrange free trial classes within 24-48 hours after sign up or registration.
How do you accept payments?
We accept payments through Paypal. Please go to paypal.com for more information.
We also accept payments through Western Union.
We usually send an invoice. If you are paying through Paypal, then you need to let us know your paypal email address. If you are paying through Western Union, we will email you the information that you need to send the money to us. Then you need to scan your Western Union form and email it to us.
Can you guarantee your students that they will pass their English exams?
We cannot and do not guarantee our students that they will pass their English exams. However, most of our TOEFL and IELTS students got their targeted scores. To achieve getting a high score, we ask our students to cooperate with us by putting effort and time to the lessons. At the same time, we are committed in providing quality online english classes to help students prepare for English tests such as TOEFL or IELTS.
Do you offer Group Classes?
Yes, we are finally offering group classes. However, we leave it to the student to tag his friends along and form groups of 2,3, or 4. Our maximum number of students in a group is 4 and our minimum number of hours is 1.
Do you allow students to change teachers?
We only allow students to change teachers if the teacher fails to show up for the classes consecutively and when the teacher habitually fails to prepare for the classes. Or, when the teacher is always late in meeting his students online. Do you provide the books and materials for the classes for free?
Yes, we provide the books and materials for the classes for free.
What happens if I fail to show up for a class?
The student should notify the teacher or the coordinator in advance if he would like to postpone or cancel his classes. However, if the student fails to do this, the classes are forfeited.
If the teacher fails to show up without prior notification, then the teacher is obligated to reschedule the class to make up for the missed class.

The group class is organized by the students themselves. For now, the student can tag his friends along and form a group of 2, 3, or 4. Once the student has been able to form his group, the representative of the group can fill out the free class form and the coordinator can assist the representative in setting up the trial class. Different rates apply for each group size. Please check our Prices page for more details.

Each one of us is individually different from others. There are some things that you need while others don’t need them. Individualized classes are effective for students who want efficient and focused lessons at any level. For the low-end this helps accelerate learning for some students; for the high-end students, this helps in focusing on individual learning tasks needed in business or personal goals. Students of this kind of class can gain benefits such as:
1. Focus of the teacher to the student is full and complete.
2. Lessons are designed specifically. Lessons are created based on the needs of the student. For instance, if the student would like to focus more on improving his spoken English skills then such lessons would be created by the teacher.
3. Pace of learning are based upon the abilities and interests of the learner.
Also, a person with a shy and reserved personality can thrive and gain confidence in this kind of setting.

Global English Exchange offers online English education at a very reasonable price. We can teach you English in the comforts of your own home, wherever you are located in the world.
What the student needs: a messenger program, microphone/headset, speakers, and a reliable internet connection.
How does it work?
1. Click the Free Class banner on the upper right of this page. Then sign up for a free trial class.
2. The coordinator will contact the student by email or add the student’s Skype id.
3. The coordinator will setup the free trial class based on the student’s desired day and time. However, we also need to consider the teachers’ availability. We can meet halfway and work things out for both sides.
4. A confirmation email will be sent out about the trial class details – this includes the profile of the teacher.
5. The teacher will either meet the student to just assess his level and understand his needs OR he can immediately give a trial class. This is a case to case basis. Generally, the trial class runs from 15 minutes – 60 minutes.
6. After the trial class, the coordinator will contact the student for feedback. The student can also contact the coordinator too, to inform if he will continue and sign up with more classes.
7. If the student would like to sign up for more classes, then the coordinator will ask the student the following questions:
a. Preferred date to begin the classes
b. Preferred length of each class (30 or 60 minutes)
c. Preferred number of classes to sign up and pay for
d. Preferred way of payment (Paypal or Western Union)
e. Preferred days and hours per week
8. Classes will only begin after the payment has been made. We can reserve the days and hours for the student if we don’t have many students coming in. However, if there are many students signing up for the classes, then it is going to be first come, first serve basis.
